Your name is ironic as far as what you wrote since Amshinover Rebbe in Eretz Yisroel who is known as an ish emes (as you may know) believes that the Lubavitcher Rebbe is Moshiach chai ve'kaiam.
There is a story in Beis Moshiach mentions him giving a reply to a bochur and than saying but this was dass tachton now i'd like to ask daas elion whereupon he asked a question fromthe Rebbe Melech haMoshiach thru Igrot Koidesh and got he same answer as he himself gave the bochur. If you want me to find this story I can or you can probably ask him yourself.
Brocha veHatzlocha!

PS. As to the actual substance of what you wrote there is a psak din rabonei Chabad from 5755 based on statements of the Rebbe not to use toarei histalkus refering to Him.
I'm surprised you are unaware of this as this is even mentioned in the court papers see
http://www.770blog.com/9_Chazan_Affidavit.pdf
also see :
http://www.otzar770.com/personalize_general/bookmark_list.asp?NewBookmark=true&nFolderId_in=559
the Rebbe says Rebbe Rayatz Shlit"a in 5740s and 50s

I'm genuinly puzled why does it bother you so much do you tell people saying kidush levona "say alav hasholom - not chai ve'kaiam?":-)

PPS:
Boruch Hashem I just found the story about the Amshinover Rebbe :
The Letter that Arrived Twice
Three children of the L. family arrived in Eretz Yisrael from Mexico to learn in yeshiva. Although the family is not Lubavitch, one of the boys became a Tamim who eventually married and went on shlichus. His two single brothers continued learning in a Litvishe yeshiva.

At some point, one of the two brothers became acquainted with Chasidus and decided to transfer to Tomchei Tmimim in Migdal Ha'Emek. He sought to influence the third brother, but at first his words fell on deaf ears. With time though, the third brother became interested in Chasidus, although he remained in the Litvishe yeshiva.

As time passed, the third brother wondered whether he was doing the right thing. On the one hand, he felt truth was to be found in Lubavitch. On the other hand, he felt he could do better in his learning in the yeshiva he was then attending. He continued to vacillate until he finally decided to present his predicament to his rosh yeshiva and ask his advice.

The rosh yeshiva listened closely, thought the matter over, and then, putting a warm hand on his talmid's shoulder he said, "I'll tell you the truth. You are an outstanding bachur and one of my best talmidim. It would be a great loss for me if you left our yeshiva, but since I am not objective I advise you to consult with a third party."

The rosh yeshiva was silent and then he added, "The person you should speak to is the Amshinover Rebbe. He is respected among the Chasidim and is known for his efforts in the midda of emes. Do what he tells you to do."

A few days later, the bachur related his dilemma to the Amshinover Rebbe. The Rebbe listened and said, "Since you are drawn to learn in Lubavitch, I think you should go there." After another moment's thought he humbly added, "But this opinion of mine is in the category of daas tachton, and you should be consulting daas elyon."

The Amshinover Rebbe suggested that he ask the Rebbe by means of the Igros Kodesh. A volume was brought and the letter that was opened to was addressed to a rosh yeshiva living in Germany. The rosh yeshiva had told the Rebbe that his son was becoming bar mitzva and that he planned on sending him to learn in yeshiva but he wasn't sure which one to send him to. Despite his experience, the decision was difficult to make and he remained undecided. The Rebbe's answer was that the boy should learn where his heart desires, as Chazal say.

The Rebbe's answer was clear. The Mexican boy should transfer to the place his heart desired, namely Tomchei Tmimim.

He went back to his rosh yeshiva and told him what had happened. The rosh yeshiva, taken aback to hear about the Rebbe's letter in the Igros Kodesh, asked to see it. The boy brought the volume of Igros Kodesh and the rosh yeshiva read it in utter shock for the letter was addressed to the rosh yeshiva's own father! It had been his father who had written the Rebbe way back when, asking the Rebbe's help in choosing a yeshiva for his son!

PPPS:
By the way the Rebbe explains in a Sicha that those who believed Moshe Rabbeinu is alive received gashmiusdike shefa from him mana for example even after he "died"
probably like these 2 "meshugine Mashichistim" in charge of :

1) This story was originally printed in Beis Moshiach http://www.BeisMoshiach.org which comes out in a more than 10,000 copies each month since it was printed in 2001 I think there was no retraction demand issued from Amshinover Rebbe's court as far as I know.
2)Lo rainu eino raiah - absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Bnei Yisroel ksherim hem- [Shabbos observant] Jews are presumed to be kosher witnesses (and as far as I know Chabadniks are still considered to be Kosher Yidn by most other "normal" Torah Jews despite some demands to the contrary see http://www.identifyingchabad.org for example.) Innocent until proven guilty.
(It's possible that similar to many other Rabbis/Rebbes I know of your Rebbe-the Amshinover Rebbe (if he is actually your Rebbe and you aren't simply annoying me and my readers with this hidden behind virtual anonymity)doesn't go around in "Yechi" yarmolka and with a Moshiach flag pin so you wouldn't know his opinion on this unless you actually ask him directly. On this last point see also:
HREF="http://www.identifyingchabad.org">http://www.identifyingchabad.org
and more importantly note what
3)May be there is more than one Amshinover Rebbe (like there is a bunch of Zhviler Rebbe's , Bishtener Rebbes etc.) (I genuinely don't know. Unfortunately I never met him/them in person even though I'd be happy to in particular based on the description in this story that he is an "ish emes" .
4)You are welcome to call up the Beis Moshiach and verify the details of the story for example the names of the bochurim mentioned in it the name of the Rosh Yeshivah and which Amshinover Rebbe is mentioned (if there is more than one around) after you do so call these people up and check if the story was reported correctly and report back here with the recordings of those conversations or signed letters of approval/or demand for retraction as inaccurate if the retraction is demanded email that to the editor of Beis Moshiach International Magazine my estimed friend Reb Boruch Merkur Shlit"a and I'm sure he'd issue one especially if you will present to him the above mentioned information (tapes signed letter(s) etc.

The Rambam (Maimonides) writes in Igeret Teiman (ch. 4) that "ho-osos v'ha-mofsim she-yeiro'u al yodo hein hein ho-re'oyos al amitas yichuso" ("The miracles and wonders that will be performed by Moshiach — these are the very proofs of his true pedigree").
If you are one of the millions of people who has experienced the miracles of the Lubavitcher Rebbe or are aware of the fulfillment of his many prophecies. You can believe that he is the Moshiach after watching the following video where he clearly identifies himself as the final redeemer. And encourages the proclamation of "Yechi!"-"Long Live our Master our Teacher and our Rebbe King Moshiach Forever and Ever!" GoldFire chill out pour some water on yourself...
Water as in Niglah- reavealed part of Torah for example Rambam laws of prophecy (Mishne Torah Laws of the Foundations of the Torah chapters 7 thru 10)...
After you do and after you read the Rebbe's own profecies you'll be "forced" to believe that the Rebbe is Moshiach unless you are an am ha'aretz or a man totaly driven by emotions...
